As a recently launched brand, Ticked Off hadn’t established an extensive brand guideline. They provided Persuaders with only a script to work from. They trusted our expertise in design to create an animation that displayed their company as innovative and unique. We dived into creating the look and feel of the video.We established a design aesthetic that complimented the Ticked Off app’s colours and design. Then we designed characters and entities for the explainer video that followed this aesthetic. All designs were approved by Ticked Off before the creation of the storyboard.
An important aspect was learning how the app worked for both the user and the company. The video will provide a step by step progression into what happens in the front and back end of the app. Providing a familiar look and feel of the app on the video was essential for the video to be successful. This will build user trust for the system. The video will also have a focus on exhibiting the user benefits of the app.
To help convey the simplicity and flexibility of the app, we made sure that each frame had a clean, minimalistic style to avoid confusion. The pacing of the video was set to a steady rate that is easy to follow and comprehend. The voiceover and music remained consistent with the theme and further engages the audience.
