Client Need

Inkling are a corporate consulting company based in Sydney who focus on providing leadership and learning development experiences for their clients. Inkling run programs focused on awakening individuals, teams and organisations to their full potential in the modern-day work environment by building resilience and psychological safety. This in turn fosters trust, inspires innovation, enables tough decision-making and cultivates strong relationships, in this transforming world.

The Brief

Inkling use a range of PowerPoint templates throughout their workshops and presentations which are touched by many members of their teams and used frequently. They have found it tricky to keep a standardised PowerPoint document which team members can develop each new presentation from, which is where some training is needed, as well as getting a well-designed and easy to navigate suite of assets.

Inkling have recently rebranded so they were looking to update their current suite of assets into the new brand style, whilst retaining the usability of the previous assets. They were keen to receive a simple, usable, user-friendly suite of templates and assets for the team to use on a daily basis to create training workshops and presentations to clients.

The Solution

Persuaders began by doing a full audit of existing presentations circulating and honed in on the need for one single source of PowerPoint truth to be installed company-wide.

As a result of the audit for what was needed, we designed a suite of branded PowerPoint templates, workbooks, brochures, a word template, and other collateral such as company-wide branded e-signatures, an eDM template and a full suite of 50 icons for their presentations.

The Outcome

We designed a full sales enablement program suite of program brochures, workshop templates and pitch materials to enable the team to communicate effectively with their clients and other consultants.

Inkling had recently undergone rebranding through a branding agency, so we built upon their graphic style from the new guidelines provided. We had the opportunity to make additions such as using the colour style guide to colour photographic imagery for use within the templates. The PowerPoint templates have been delivered with easy to follow user instructions to guide the team through how to:

  • Build a presentation using the master slide template
  • Use and replace imagery whilst staying on-brand
  • Use and insert icons
  • Manipulate columns to fit the presentation needs
  • Create a presentation that flows

In addition to the PowerPoint templates, we designed a number of brand assets such as e-signature, eDM and a suite of icons.

The Inkling eDM template is designed with a series of on-brand cliackable images to increase audience engagement rate. We encourage keeping copy points short and engaging as best practice, reducing the size of large chunks of long-form copy which audience may skim past. We used Google fonts to ensure that the audience can read the eDM as it’s intended, as some font replacement that can occur with exotic fonts.

Our suite of 50 new icons are simple, clean and clever, which can be used across all Inkling assets to emphasise, clarify and draw attention to important points.

Inkling now have suite of simple, clean and clever styled, ‘on brand’ suite of assets to make meaningful workshops, proposals and presentations.
